'Stree 2' Crosses Rs 200 Crore Mark in Just Five Days

In a remarkable achievement, 'Stree 2,' starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has stormed past the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office within just five days of its release. The film, which hit theaters on August 15, has been on a record-breaking spree, with its first-day collection standing at a staggering Rs 55.40 crore. Combined with a solid preview collection of Rs 9.40 crore on August 14, 'Stree 2' was off to an impressive start.

Over the weekend, the film continued to draw crowds in large numbers. On its second day, Friday, it collected Rs 35.30 crore, followed by Rs 45.70 crore on Saturday, and a massive Rs 58.20 crore on Sunday. The momentum remained strong on Monday, with the film adding another Rs 38.40 crore to its tally. By the end of its first week, the total domestic net collection stood at a whopping Rs 242.4 crore.

The film, made on a budget of around Rs 50 crore, has already proved to be a huge commercial success. The gross domestic collection till date is Rs 286.19 crore, while the overseas collection has contributed Rs 43.15 crore, taking the worldwide gross to an impressive Rs 329.34 crore.

Given the overwhelming response at the box office, the verdict is clear: 'Stree 2' is a blockbuster hit. Its collections have far surpassed expectations, establishing it as one of the top-grossing films of the year. As the film continues its run in theaters, it is expected to add significantly to its already substantial box office collection.
