Plot

Zwigato follows the life of Manas, portrayed by Kapil Sharma, a former factory worker who becomes a food delivery rider after losing his job. The film is set in the backdrop of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and sheds light on the struggles of the gig economy. As Manas takes up this physically demanding job, he battles long hours, the pressure of ratings, and the constant need to meet targets to support his family. Shahana Goswami plays his wife, Pratima, who decides to take up a job as a cleaning staff at a mall to contribute to the household income. Their relationship undergoes strain as they try to navigate the financial and emotional hardships they face. The film delicately portrays the difficulties faced by the working class, the impact of modern technology on livelihoods, and the social inequalities that persist in urban India.
