Plot

Toolsidas Junior follows the story of Toolsidas (Rajiv Kapoor), a passionate snooker player who regularly participates in local tournaments but struggles to win the championship trophy due to his battle with alcoholism. His young son, Midi (Varun Buddhadev), idolizes him and dreams of seeing his father win the title. When Toolsidas suffers a devastating defeat in a crucial match against his rival, champion snooker player Jimmy Tandon (Dalip Tahil), Midi feels the weight of his father’s unfulfilled ambitions and vows to bring the trophy home himself. With no background in snooker, Midi embarks on a journey of determination and resilience. He seeks guidance from Mohammad Salaam (Sanjay Dutt), a former snooker champion who has left the sport. Initially reluctant, Salaam recognizes Midi’s passion and begins to coach him, teaching him the skills, discipline, and mindset required to excel in the game. As Midi improves, he learns important life lessons about patience, hard work, and perseverance. Toolsidas Junior culminates in a high-stakes snooker tournament where Midi faces experienced opponents and attempts to fulfill his father’s dream.
