Ram Setu follows Dr. Aryan Kulshrestha (Akshay Kumar), a renowned but skeptical archaeologist tasked with investigating the origins and authenticity of the Ram Setu, a legendary bridge said to have been built by Lord Rama’s vanara army in ancient Indian mythology. The mission becomes critical when a corporate entity plans to demolish the bridge for economic gains, sparking widespread controversy over its cultural and religious significance. Initially dismissive of the mythological claims, Aryan embarks on an expedition to uncover the truth. Joined by environmentalist Sandra (Jacqueline Fernandez), his supportive wife Gayatri (Nushrratt Bharuccha), and a skilled local guide AP (Satya Dev), Aryan dives into the mysteries of the ancient structure. The journey takes the team across exotic and perilous locations, uncovering historical artifacts, scientific clues, and surprising revelations about the bridge’s origins. As Aryan delves deeper, his skepticism is challenged, and he begins to recognize the bridge’s spiritual and cultural significance. Facing corporate conspiracies, political pressure, and natural dangers, Aryan must race against time to preserve the Ram Setu and its legacy.
