Plot

Phone Bhoot is a quirky supernatural comedy that follows the misadventures of two ghostbusters-in-the-making, Gullu (Ishaan Khattar) and Major (Siddhant Chaturvedi). Best friends with an obsession for all things paranormal, the duo dreams of starting a business dedicated to dealing with supernatural phenomena. However, their dreams take a bizarre turn when they encounter Ragini (Katrina Kaif), a glamorous ghost with a mysterious agenda. Ragini proposes a unique partnership: the trio sets up a ghost-capturing business to help wandering spirits find closure, with Gullu and Major acting as the human facilitators. The venture becomes an overnight success as they hilariously tackle eccentric ghostly clients. However, Ragini has a hidden motive—she seeks their help to defeat Atmaram (Jackie Shroff), an evil tantric who traps spirits for his dark rituals. As the story unfolds, Gullu and Major find themselves entangled in a chaotic battle between good and evil, relying on their wits and accidental heroics to save Ragini and other captive souls.
