Plot

Jugjugg Jeeyo is a family comedy-drama that explores love, marriage, and generational differences with humor and heart. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film follows Kuku (Varun Dhawan) and Naina (Kiara Advani), a young couple whose marriage has lost its spark. After living abroad for years, they decide to return to India for Kuku’s sister’s wedding, planning to announce their impending divorce to their family once the celebrations are over. However, upon their return, they uncover a surprising twist: Kuku’s father, Bheem (Anil Kapoor), is also contemplating divorce from his wife, Geeta (Neetu Kapoor), after decades of marriage. Bheem’s midlife crisis and his desire for freedom shake the family’s foundation, as everyone finds themselves entangled in unexpected revelations and personal dilemmas. Manish Paul and Prajakta Koli add comic relief and emotional support as Kuku’s best friend and sister, respectively, adding layers to the unfolding drama.
