Dream Girl 2 is a comedy-drama that continues the quirky story of Karamveer Singh (Ayushmann Khurrana), a young man who, due to financial struggles, resorts to cross-dressing and impersonating a woman to make a living. In this sequel, Karam wants to marry his girlfriend, Pari (Ananya Panday), but faces the challenge of winning over her father, who demands that Karam must first prove his financial stability. Desperate for money, Karam revives his alter ego "Pooja" and takes up a bizarre job where he pretends to be a woman. His cross-dressing antics lead to hilarious situations, including several men, played by Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz, falling hopelessly in love with "Pooja." As the story progresses, Karam/Pooja gets caught in a web of lies, where he has to juggle multiple identities, handle misunderstandings, and keep his real self hidden while navigating these chaotic relationships.
