Plot

Double XL is a heartwarming comedy that celebrates body positivity, self-discovery, and the power of female friendship. The film follows the lives of Rajshri Trivedi (Huma Qureshi), an aspiring sports presenter from Meerut, and Saira Khanna (Sonakshi Sinha), a fashion designer from New Delhi. Despite their talent and ambition, both women face societal ridicule and discrimination due to their plus-size bodies, which leads to self-doubt and frustration. Their paths cross unexpectedly, and they bond over shared struggles and dreams. Together, they decide to challenge societal norms and redefine the traditional standards of beauty. Rajshri and Saira embark on an empowering journey that takes them to London, where they work on a fashion project that combines their unique skills and showcases their creativity.
