Plot

In 2017, Murlikant Petkar, an elderly man from a small village, walks into a local police station to file a complaint against the President of India. He believes he deserves the prestigious Arjuna Award for his extraordinary achievements in sports, which he claims would aid in the development of his impoverished village. When questioned about his eligibility, Murlikant begins to recount his inspiring story. He reveals his past as a war hero and national sports champion, whose athletic prowess was overshadowed by the adversities he faced. Through flashbacks, the film showcases Murlikant’s humble beginnings, his grit in overcoming injuries from a war, and his impressive victories in athletics. As the narrative unfolds, Murlikant’s perseverance, patriotism, and dedication to both his sport and his community are highlighted, shedding light on a forgotten hero’s quest for recognition.
