Plot

Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva (2022) is a visually spectacular fantasy action-adventure that introduces the mystical Astraverse, a universe inspired by Indian mythology. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the story follows Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor), a young DJ with a mysterious connection to fire, which neither harms him nor burns him. Unbeknownst to him, Shiva is destined to play a key role in the cosmic battle between good and evil. Shiva's life changes when he meets Isha (Alia Bhatt), who becomes his love and ally. Together, they are drawn into a hidden world of ancient weapons known as Astras, guarded by a secretive group called the Brahmānsh. Shiva discovers his link to the Brahmāstra, the most powerful of the Astras, capable of creating or destroying the universe. As Shiva uncovers the truth about his parents and his destiny, he is hunted by Junoon (Mouni Roy), the leader of dark forces aiming to harness the Brahmāstra's destructive power. Guided by Guru (Amitabh Bachchan) and supported by fellow guardians, Shiva learns to harness his inner power, the Agnyastra, to protect humanity.
