Plot

Ardh is a heartfelt drama that follows the journey of Shiva (played by Rajpal Yadav), a struggling theater actor in Mumbai, who dreams of making it big in the world of cinema. Despite his passion and talent, Shiva faces constant rejection due to his age and unconventional looks, making his dream seem almost unattainable. In a desperate bid to survive and support his family, he disguises himself as a transgender woman, earning a living by seeking alms on the streets. Shiva’s wife, Madhu (played by Rubina Dilaik), supports him through this challenging double life, keeping faith in his dream and providing emotional strength despite their modest circumstances.
