Zareen Khan, born on May 14, 1987, in Mumbai, India, is an Indian actress and model who primarily works in the Hindi film industry. She belongs to a conservative Pathan family and pursued her education at Rizvi College of Science, Mumbai. Zareen initially had aspirations to become a doctor, but her path took a turn towards the entertainment industry. 

Her entry into Bollywood was serendipitous. During a visit to the set of Yuvvraaj, she caught the attention of Salman Khan, who cast her as the lead in the 2010 film "Veer." Although the film received mixed reviews, Zareen was praised for her resemblance to Katrina Kaif and her performance.
