Vivek Oberoi, born on September 3, 1976, in Hyderabad, India, is a prominent Bollywood actor known for his diverse roles and strong performances. The son of actor Suresh Oberoi, Vivek was exposed to the film industry from an early age, but he initially pursued a career in business before turning his focus to acting. He trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and later honed his skills in Mumbai’s acting schools.
Vivek made a striking debut with Ram Gopal Varma's Company (2002), a crime drama that earned him widespread acclaim and the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His performance in Saathiya (2002), a romantic film directed by Shaad Ali, further established him as a talented actor with a knack for portraying complex emotions.
