Vikas Sethi was born on May 12, 1976, in Chandigarh, India. He grew up in Ludhiana, Punjab, where he developed an early aspiration to become an actor, influenced by his father's dreams for him. Sethi pursued acting at the Roshan Taneja School of Acting after moving to Mumbai at the age of 17. He was married to Amita Sethi, with whom he participated in the reality dance show "Nach Baliye," but later divorced. He remarried Jhanvi Sethi on February 21, 2018, and they had twin sons, Rudraveer and Rajveer, born in June 2021. Vikas Sethi passed away from a cardiac arrest on September 8, 2024, in Nashik, Maharashtra, at the age of 48.
