Vijay Raaz, born on June 5, 1963, in Delhi, India, is an acclaimed actor and director known for his memorable performances in Hindi films[2]. He attended Kirori Mal College and was part of the dramatic society "The Players". Raaz started his career in theater and later joined the National School of Drama in New Delhi.
Raaz made his film debut with "Bhopal Express" in 1999 and has since appeared in over 90 films. His breakthrough role came in 2001 when he played the character of P.K. Dubey in the critically acclaimed film "Monsoon Wedding". He has garnered recognition for his comedic roles in films like "Run" and "Dhamaal". Raaz has also played notable roles in films such as "Delhi Belly," "Dedh Ishqiya," "Stree," "Gully Boy," and "Gangubai Kathiawadi".
In 2014, Raaz made his directorial debut with the film "Kya Dilli Kya Lahore," in which he also played the lead role of Rehmat Ali[3]. He is married to actress Krishna Raaz and has a daughter named Tanishka.
