Vibhawari Deshpande, born on February 1, 1979, in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is an Indian actress, writer, and director known for her work in Marathi theatre and cinema. She completed her schooling at Garware High School and graduated in Arts and Mass Communication from Fergusson College in Pune. Her father, Upendra Dixit, runs the International Book Service, a bookstore established by her grandfather in 1931, and her mother, Maneesha Dixit, was a scholar, writer, and theater critic. In July 2001, Vibhawari married Hrishikesh Deshpande, and the couple has one child.
