Varun Grover, born on January 26, 1980, in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh, India, is an accomplished Indian lyricist, writer, and filmmaker. He is known for his work in Hindi films, television shows, and stand-up comedy.

 

Grover's career began in 2004 when he moved to Mumbai to pursue his passion for writing. His big break came in 2005 with the acclaimed comedy show "The Great Indian Comedy Show," where he was one of the six staff writers. Since then, he has written lyrics for numerous popular films, including "Gangs of Wasseypur," "Udta Punjab," "Dum Laga Ke Haisha," and "Newton".

 

In addition to his work in films, Grover has also written for popular TV shows such as "The Great Indian Comedy Show," "Jay Hind!," and "Sacred Games". He is also a successful stand-up comedian and has performed at various comedy festivals and events.

 

Grover's relationship status is married, although the name of his spouse is not publicly known. He is considered one of the top ten highest-paid lyricists in the Indian film industry.
