Varsha Usgaonkar was born on February 28, 1968, in Usgao, Goa, India. She is the daughter of A.K.S. Usgaonkar, a politician and former Deputy Speaker of Goa, and Manikabai Usgaonkar, a classical singer. Varsha developed a passion for music early in her life and honed her classical singing skills under the guidance of Pandit Sudhakar Karandikar. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Goa University and was actively involved in theater during her academic years. Varsha married Ajay Sharma in 2000. She is known for her contributions to both Marathi and Hindi cinema, earning recognition as one of the leading actresses in Marathi films during the 1990s. In recent years, she has participated in reality television shows like Bigg Boss Marathi.
