Tauquir Ahmed was born on March 5, 1966, in Dacca, East Pakistan, now known as Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a prominent Bangladeshi architect, actor, and filmmaker. He has been married to actress Bipasha Hayat since July 23, 1999, and they have two children together, a son named Arib and a daughter named Arisha. 

Throughout his career, Tauquir Ahmed has gained recognition for his contributions to both television and cinema. He is celebrated for directing acclaimed films such as Joyjatra (2004), which earned him several national awards, and Oggatonama (2016). His work often reflects the cultural and social issues of Bangladesh, making him a significant figure in the country's film industry.
