Tara Sharma

Tara Sharma, born on January 11, 1977, in London, England, is a British actress, entrepreneur, and television host. She is the daughter of renowned authors Partap Sharma and Susan Sharma. Tara completed her education at the Bombay International School and the United World College of the Adriatic in Italy before earning a B.Sc in Management from the London School of Economics. Initially working as a financial consultant at Citibank and Accenture, she transitioned to acting after appearing in commercials for major brands like Pepsi and Lakme. Tara married media entrepreneur Roopak Saluja on November 27, 2007, and they have two sons, Zen and Kai. 

 

Tara made her Bollywood debut in Anupam Kher's directorial venture "Om Jai Jagadish" in 2002. She gained recognition for her roles in several successful films, including "Masti" (2004), "Page 3" (2005), "Khosla Ka Ghosla" (2006), and "Kadakh" (2019). In addition to Hindi cinema, she has appeared in English films such as "The Other End of the Line" (2008) and television shows like "Raven: The Secret Temple" (2007). Tara is also the creator and host of "The Tara Sharma Show," which addresses family and parenting issues and has aired across various platforms including Star World India and NDTV. The show has completed multiple seasons and aims to foster positive change in society. Her diverse career reflects her commitment to both entertainment and social issues.
