Talat Aziz is an acclaimed Indian ghazal singer and composer, born on November 11, 1956, in Hyderabad, India. He developed an interest in music from a young age, influenced by his mother, Sajida Abid, a well-known Urdu writer and poet. Talat began his formal training under the guidance of Ustad Samad Khan and later trained under Ustad Fayaz Ahmed Khan. 

Talat's career took off in the late 1970s when he performed at various prestigious concerts. His debut album, "Jagjit Singh Presents Talat Aziz," released in 1979, gained immense popularity. Known for his soulful voice and emotive renditions, Talat became a prominent figure in the ghazal genre during the 1980s and 1990s. 

Apart from ghazals, Talat has also ventured into playback singing for Bollywood films, composing music, and acting in television serials. His contributions to music have earned him numerous awards and accolades. Talat continues to perform globally, captivating audiences with his timeless melodies and deep connection to classical music.
