Smriti Mishra is an Indian actress born on March 30, 1977, in Mumbai, India. She gained recognition for her performances in critically acclaimed films during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Mishra is best known for her roles in Shyam Benegal's "Sardari Begum" (1996), Sudhir Mishra's "Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin" (1996), and Pamela Rooks's "Train to Pakistan" (1998). She has also appeared in "Zubeidaa" (2001) and "Dil Dosti Etc" (2007). Although she has had a relatively short career, her contributions to Indian cinema have been significant.
