Simran Kaur Mundi is an Indian actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder, born on September 13, 1988, in Mumbai, India. She hails from a Jat family from Mundian Jattan, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Mundi completed her schooling at Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya in Gwalior and earned a degree in Bio-Technology from Holkar Science College in Indore in 2007. Following her graduation, she worked as a guest relations executive at Fame Cinemas in Mumbai before being encouraged to participate in the Femina Miss India pageant, which she won in 2008. As Miss India Universe, she represented India at the Miss Universe 2008 competition. Mundi married Gurickk Maan, son of Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan, on January 31, 2020.
