Sikandar Kher was born on October 31, 1984, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is the son of actress Kirron Kher and her first husband, Gautam Berry, making him the stepson of renowned actor Anupam Kher. Sikandar attended The Doon School in Dehradun and pursued acting through a six-month theatre course at the National School of Drama. He got engaged to Priya Singh in January 2016, but their engagement was called off in March 2016. Sikandar has a sibling, Tara-Alisha Berry.
