Seth graduated from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai with a degree in Economics. She began her career as a model and transitioned into hosting television shows, gaining fame for her role as Jiya Malhotra in the popular series "Shararat" (2003-2006). Shruti is married to film director Danish Aslam since 2010, and they have a daughter named Alina.
