Shivani Tanksale was born on October 29, 1984, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is a talented actress and theatre director known for her work in Hindi films and advertisements. Shivani completed her education at Green Lawns High School in Mumbai and began her acting career in theatre during her school days, winning several state and national competitions. She gained recognition for her performances with the theatre group 'Ekjute' and later joined Nadira Zaheer Babbar's group. Shivani was previously married to actor Sumeet Vyas from 2010 until their divorce in 2017. She is also the granddaughter of politician Vasant Sathe.
