Shivaji Satam

Shivaji Satam, born on April 21, 1950, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a renowned Indian television and film actor best known for his portrayal of ACP Pradyuman in the long-running TV series CID. Before entering the entertainment industry, he worked as a cashier at the Central Bank of India for 23 years while nurturing his passion for theatre. He graduated in Chemistry from Maharshi Dayanand College and also completed a Diploma in Business Management. Satam's career began with the television series Rishte-Naate in 1980, and he gained significant recognition through his role in CID, which aired from 1998 to 2024. His personal life has seen challenges; his wife Aruna passed away in 2002 due to breast cancer. He has a son, Abhijit Satam, who has also appeared in CID, and a daughter-in-law, Madhura Velankar, who is a Marathi actress.
