Shernaz Patel is an Indian film and theatre actress born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is the daughter of renowned Gujarati theatre artists Burjor and Ruby Patel, which immersed her in a theatrical environment from a young age. She completed her schooling at Fort Convent School, where she actively participated in plays directed by Pearl Padamsee. Shernaz graduated from Elphinstone College, University of Mumbai, and further honed her acting skills by obtaining a master's degree from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
