Sheeba Chaddha is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her versatile portrayals of strong, unconventional female characters in films, television series, and web shows. Born in 1973 in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Chaddha grew up in Delhi where she developed a keen interest in theatre from a young age. After graduating with a degree in English literature from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi, she began her acting career with the Doordarshan series Shri Krishna in 1993.
Chaddha's breakthrough came with her role in the 1998 film Dil Se.., after which she went on to appear in several critically acclaimed movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Talaash, Badhaai Do, and Doctor G. Her versatility as an actress has been widely praised, with Chaddha seamlessly transitioning between positive and negative roles.
