Sharmin Segal Mehta, born on September 28, 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi films. She is the niece of renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Segal began her career in the film industry as an assistant director on projects like Mary Kom and Bajirao Mastani. Her acting debut came in 2019 with the film Malaal, where she portrayed Astha Tripathi alongside Meezaan Jafri. The film garnered mixed reviews, but Segal's performance earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In November 2023, she married Aman Mehta, who is the executive director of Torrent Pharmaceuticals.
