Shantanu Maheshwari is an Indian actor, dancer, choreographer and host who rose to fame with his breakthrough performance as the protagonist Swayam Shekhawat in the show Dil Dotti Dance on Channel V. Born on March 7, 1991 in Kolkata, India, Maheshwari belongs to a Marwari family[. He began dancing at the age of 8 after his mother recognized his talent.

Maheshwari's career took off when he joined the dance crew Desi Hoppers, who won the World of Dance Championship in Los Angeles in 2015. He has since participated in several reality shows, including Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 (which he won), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, and Nach Baliye 9.

In 2022, Maheshwari made his Bollywood debut opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. He is currently in a relationship with actress Nityaami Shirke, with whom he participated in Nach Baliye 9.
