Sangeeta Chauhan, born on March 22, 1959, in Delhi, India, is an Indian politician and former member of the 17th Uttar Pradesh Assembly representing the Naugawan Sadat constituency for the Bharatiya Janata Party. She made history as the first female MLA from her constituency. Sangeeta married Chetan Chauhan, a former cricketer and politician, on January 30, 1992. The couple shared a strong bond until Chetan's passing in August 2020. Sangeeta Chauhan has been actively involved in politics and has contributed to various social causes throughout her career.
