Salma Agha was born on October 29, 1954, in Karachi, Pakistan. Raised in a wealthy family, she moved to London at the age of nine. Her father, Liaqat Gul Agha, was an entrepreneur dealing in rugs. Salma began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, performing in school festivals. She gained significant fame in the 1980s for her roles in Indian and Pakistani films. Salma has been married three times; her first marriage was to actor Javed Sheikh, followed by a long-term marriage to squash player Rahmat Khan from 1989 to 2010, with whom she has two children. In 2011, she married businessman Manzar Shah. Salma Agha currently holds British citizenship and resides in Mumbai.
