Sabyasachi completed his higher secondary education at Andrew's High School in Kolkata and earned a B.Sc. degree from Hansraj College, University of Delhi. He is married to Mithu Chakraborty, who is also an established figure in the Bengali entertainment industry. The couple has two sons, Gaurav and Arjun Chakrabarty, both of whom are talented actors.
