Roshan Mathew was born on March 22, 1992, in Changanassery, Kerala, India. He hails from a Syro Malabar Catholic family; his father, Mathew Joseph, is a bank manager, and his mother, Regina Augustine, is a retired engineer. Roshan pursued his education at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kottayam and later studied B.Sc. Physics at Madras Christian College in Chennai. He developed a passion for acting during college, leading him to join the Drama School in Mumbai after dropping out of engineering studies. Roshan is currently single and does not have any children.
