Ram Gopal Bajaj, born on July 1, 1940, in Darbhanga, Bihar, India, is a distinguished Indian theatre director, academician, and Hindi film actor. He graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD) in 1965 and later served as its director from November 1995 to September 2001. During his tenure, he initiated notable theatre festivals like Bharat Rang Mahotsav and Jashn-e-Bachpan. Bajaj has been married twice, first to Sulochna Devi and later to Chandrakala Khemchand Prakash. He has three sons: Prakash Bajaj, Riju Bajaj, and Aseem Bajaj.
