Rakesh Roshan, born on September 6, 1949, in Mumbai, India, is a prominent figure in the Indian film industry as a producer, director, screenwriter, and former actor. He is married to Pinky Roshan and has two children: Sunaina and Hrithik Roshan, the latter being a well-known actor in Bollywood. Rakesh stands approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. He comes from a notable family in the film industry; his father was the music director Roshanlal Nagrath, and he has a brother named Rajesh Roshan, who is also involved in music.

Rakesh Roshan's career spans over five decades, during which he has made significant contributions to Hindi cinema. He began his acting career in 1970 and appeared in numerous films primarily during the 1970s and 1980s. However, he gained greater recognition as a director starting with his debut film "Khudgarz" in 1987. His directorial style often features titles beginning with the letter "K," leading to a series of successful films such as "Karan Arjun," "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai," and "Koi... Mil Gaya." These films not only showcased his talent but also established him as a leading filmmaker in Bollywood. His work has earned him several accolades, including Filmfare Awards for Best Director.
