Rahat Kazmi was born on June 30, 1946, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, British India. He is currently 78 years old. Rahat is married to Sahira Kazmi, who is also a prominent actress in Pakistan. They tied the knot in 1974 after meeting on the sets of PTV in 1971. The couple has two children: a son named Ali Kazmi and a daughter named Nida Kazmi.

Rahat Kazmi is a distinguished Pakistani actor, screenwriter, and academician known for his extensive contributions to television and drama. He gained fame through various PTV serials such as "Mayaar," "Qurbatain Aur Faslay," and "Dhoop Kinare." His career spans several decades, during which he not only acted but also wrote notable scripts, including "Teesra Kinara," inspired by Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead." In addition to his acting career, Rahat has held teaching positions in English Literature and Drama at various institutions in Karachi.
