Pratik Gandhi was born on April 28, 1980, in Surat, Gujarat, India. He grew up in a family of educators and completed his schooling at Smt. V. D. Desai High School in Surat. Pursuing his interest in theater, he graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from North Maharashtra University in 2004. Initially working as an engineer at Reliance Infrastructure, he balanced his job with theater performances at night. Pratik married actress Bhamini Oza in 2009, and they have a daughter named Miraya, born in 2014.
