She completed her education at Symbiosis Law School in Pune, where she also participated in various beauty pageants, winning several titles. Pragya made her acting debut in 2014 with the Tamil film "Virattu" and soon after appeared in her first Hindi film, "Titoo MBA." Her breakthrough role came with the Telugu film "Kanche" (2015), which earned her critical acclaim and multiple awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.
