Patralekha Paul, born on February 20, 1990, in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema. She hails from a Bengali family; her father is a Chartered Accountant, and her mother, Papri Paul, is a homemaker. She has two siblings, Parnalekha and Agnish Paul. Patralekha attended The Assam Valley School in Assam and later graduated from Bishop Cotton Girls' School in Bangalore. She pursued higher education at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. During her college years, she appeared in commercials for brands like Blackberry and Tata Docomo. She is also trained in Bharatanatyam.

In her personal life, Patralekha has been in a relationship with actor Rajkummar Rao since 2010. The couple married on November 15, 2021, in a traditional Hindu ceremony at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in Chandigarh.
