Nupur Sharma was born on April 23, 1985, in New Delhi, India. She hails from an educated family; her father is Dr. Vinay Sharma. Nupur completed her schooling at Delhi Public School and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hons.) from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She later obtained a law degree (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics. Nupur has been active in politics since her college days, becoming the President of the Delhi University Students' Union in 2008 on a ticket from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). She has worked closely with senior BJP leaders and was appointed as the National Spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 2020 until her suspension in June 2022 due to controversial remarks made during a television debate regarding Prophet Muhammad. Nupur Sharma is currently unmarried and has not publicly disclosed any information about her relationship status.
