Nivin Pauly, born on October 11, 1984, in Aluva, Kerala, is a prominent Indian actor and producer known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly, in 2006. After a brief stint in IT, he pursued his passion for acting, debuting in Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010) directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan.

Nivin gained widespread recognition with the 2012 romantic comedy Thattathin Marayathu, again directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. His natural acting style and boy-next-door charm quickly made him a favorite among audiences. He solidified his position in the industry with critically acclaimed performances in Neram (2013), 1983 (2014), Bangalore Days (2014), and Premam (2015), with the latter becoming a cultural phenomenon.
