She completed her graduation from Delhi University and began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. Nikita gained prominence in 2013 with her debut role as Taani in the television series V The Serial. She has since portrayed notable characters such as Antara Kaul in Do Dil Ek Jaan, Kavita Roy in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, and Lakshmi in Mahakali — Anth Hi Aarambh Hai.
