Neetu Singh, born on July 8, 1958, in Delhi, India, is a prominent Indian actress known for her work in Bollywood during the 1970s and early 1980s. Initially starting her career as a child artist under the name Baby Sonia, she made her film debut in the movie "Do Kaliyaan" (1968). Neetu gained fame as a leading actress with her first major role in "Rickshawala" (1973). Throughout her career, she starred in numerous successful films including "Deewar" (1975), "Amar Akbar Anthony" (1977), and "Kaala Patthar" (1979). After marrying actor Rishi Kapoor in 1980, she took a hiatus from acting to focus on her family. The couple had two children, including actor Ranbir Kapoor. Neetu returned to the film industry in 2009 with "Love Aaj Kal," marking her comeback after nearly three decades. She has since appeared in several films alongside Rishi Kapoor and has earned accolades for her performances.
