Narendra Jha was an Indian actor born on September 2, 1962, in Koilakh, a village in Madhubani, Bihar. He developed a passion for acting during his childhood, influenced by the local theater traditions. Jha pursued higher education in ancient history at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) while also preparing for civil services. His professional acting career began in 1992 when he enrolled in an acting diploma course at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) in Delhi. He moved to Mumbai, where he quickly gained popularity in the modeling industry and appeared in numerous advertisements. Jha's film career included notable performances in films such as Haider, Raees, Ghayal Once Again, and Mohenjo Daro, among others. He was also recognized for his roles in mythological TV serials like Ravana and Arjuna. Jha was married to Pankaja Jha and passed away from a heart attack on March 14, 2018, at the age of 55.
