Narayani Shastri was born on April 16, 1978 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She is currently married to Steven Graver (also known as Tony), who owns an advertising agency.

Narayani Shastri is an Indian television and theatre actress known for her roles in popular shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Piya Ka Ghar, Namak Haraam, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, and Nazar. She made her debut in 2000 with the DD National show Kahani Saat Pheron Ki. Shastri played the lead role of Rimjhim in Piya Ka Ghar and also portrayed the character of Tulsi's sister Kesar in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In 2017, she played the role of powerful business woman Satrupa in Star Plus' show Rishton Ka Chakravyuh. Shastri was previously in a long-term relationship with co-star Gaurav Chopra, with whom she participated in Nach Baliye 2.
