Namit Das was born on July 10, 1984. He is currently married to Shruti Vyas, a fellow theater and film actress, whom he wed on February 15, 2015. Namit comes from a family deeply rooted in music; his father, Chandan Dass, is a well-known ghazal singer. His maternal grandfather, K. Pannalal, was a musician associated with All India Radio and Doordarshan, while his uncles include Jaidev Kumar, a prominent Punjabi music director, and Ajay K. Pannalal, a Punjabi film director. Namit's younger brother, Anshul Nautiyal, is an underground music producer based in Delhi. Standing at an impressive height of 6 feet (183 cm), Namit has made significant contributions to the Indian entertainment industry.
