Monica Bedi was born on January 18, 1975, in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. She moved with her family to Norway in 1976 and lived there until 1991. Bedi pursued her education in English Literature at Oxford University. She began her acting career in 1995 with the Telugu film "Taj Mahal," which was a commercial success. Shortly after, she made her Bollywood debut opposite Saif Ali Khan in "Surakshaa." Over the years, she has worked with prominent actors such as Govinda, Sanjay Dutt, and Salman Khan. Bedi gained further fame through reality shows like "Bigg Boss 2" and "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3." Despite facing personal challenges, including a legal battle related to a passport case, she rebuilt her career and continues to be active in the entertainment industry.
