Mohit Raina, born on August 14, 1982, in Jammu, India, is a prominent Indian actor known for his work in Hindi television and films. He comes from a Kashmiri Pandit family and was raised in Jammu, where he completed his education at Kendriya Vidyalaya and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Jammu. Raina began his acting career in 2004 with the science fiction television series "Antariksh - Ek Amar Katha." He gained significant recognition for portraying Lord Shiva in the popular series "Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev," which aired from 2011 to 2014. His performance earned him widespread acclaim and established him as a household name. In addition to television, Raina made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with the film "URI: The Surgical Strike," where he played Major Karan Kashyap. On January 1, 2022, he married Aditi Chandra, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on March 16, 2023.
